Reminder to upgrade to PHP 7.2 before 30 June
If your website is still making use of PHP 5.6 or 7.0, hosting companies will be automatically upgraded to PHP 7.2 from 30 June 2019.
The automatic upgrade is necessary as these two versions have reached end of life. This does not apply to customers currently on PHP 7.1.
It is vital to ensure your site is compatible with PHP 7.2 before the automatic upgrade in June. We recommend that you take action now by making use of the PHP version switcher in the PHP Config tool.
This tool allows you to test your website's compatibility in a controlled manner, with the option to downgrade back to the older version should you find any errors.
If you need help upgrading the cframework (Joomla and Wordpress) or the plugins, modules and compoentswe can help.
